AIRBUS LOCKS IN VIETRAVEL ORDER FOR 50 JETS

Airbus has secured a firm order from Vietravel Airlines for 50 aircraft comprising 20 A220s and 30 A321s, with the first A321 slated for delivery in June 2025. The deal also includes a memorandum of understanding between Vietravel and Vietnam Airlines for five A350-900 widebody jets, with those aircraft scheduled for delivery between 2033 and 2034. The broader order is expected to reach initial deliveries starting in 2029.
